The 2024 SYS Sensational Summer Orchestra Camp is scheduled to take place Tuesday-Friday, August 6-9.
This camp is for Symphony Orchestra (SYSO) and Philharmonic members and students who are auditioning for these orchestras for the 2024-25 season. The orchestra camp will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m Tuesday-Friday at Whitworth University’s Cowles Music Center.
The 2024 SYS Sensational Chamber Camp will begin on Monday evening, August 5th from 5-8 pm followed by morning rehearsals August 6-9 from 8-9:45 am. Ensembles will be formed based on instrumentation and skill level. Strings and wind players are welcome to sign up for this camp. Chamber ensembles will perform in the camp concert on August 9th at 6 pm.(Chamber participants must be registered for the Orchestra Camp. The Chamber Camp fee is $115.)
