ENTRANCE AUDITIONS
Students who did not audition in May for the 2026-2027 season are invited to audition for one of our orchestras August 29-30 at St. John’s Cathedral, 127 E. 12th Ave. There is no fee to audition.
The audition requirements and sign-up link to audition for an SYS orchestra (SYSO, Philharmonic, Sinfonietta, and Strings) are provided on the pages listed under the “Entrance Auditions” menu item on this page.

Enrollment is now OPEN
To enroll for the 2026-2027 year, the SYS student’s parent or guardian will need to submit the online 2026-2027 Enrollment and Payment Agreement form, found on the Member Resources page, and provide the required $250 Family Enrollment Fee (unless applying for Tuition Assistance).
The student must be a returning SYS member or have been accepted by audition into one of the SYS orchestras for the 2026-2027 season before they can be enrolled.
Fall auditions will take place during the last week of August for new participants. Signup for Entrance Auditions will be posted soon.
