We are very excited about our special 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee concert coming up on Saturday, November 30th! Alumni from years and decades past are making plans to join us that weekend to perform with current members of the Spokane Youth Symphony Orchestra. This is an event that is sure to bring old friends back together and excitement at once again performing great music. The orchestra will perform under the direction of Spokane Symphony Music Director, James Lowe, former SYS Artistic Director, Verne Windham, and current conductor of the Spokane Youth Symphony Orchestra and SYS Artistic Director, Philip Baldwin. This event will highlight how the Spokane Youth Symphony has positively impacted students and has been a bright spot in our community for more than seven decades.
We are trying to connect with as many alumni as possible to be sure they have the chance to come to this concert as audience members or orchestra musicians.
